
SJ Service Academy is a training company and conference facility under one and the same roof. Our primary activity is professional training, and our business concept is best described as 'we educate and train with a view to enhancing our clients' competitiveness and profitability'. We offer training courses within service, sales, management, business literacy, human safety and traffic safety.
We also offer consultancy services within recruitment and coaching. Coaching is conducted by our service coaches as part of the client company's daily business routines to ensure that the training will achieve the desired outcome. We train and coach, in other words, in the real world for the real world. We have successfully worked with companies during recruitment processes to find new colleagues, ensuring that the candidates have the right personal profile for recruitment by a service company.
We apply a pedagogy that is based on experience and adapted in line with the client's reality. This means that we work, among other things, with concrete, real-life cases.
We have also established corporate partnerships and developed a methodology for e-learning production as a complement to our personal training activities.
When we ourselves recruit new staff, we look for highly knowledgeable people with in-depth experience and a strong personality. Our employees are selected and recruited from a range of industries with a clear focus on service, such as the travel and tourism industry, the experience industry and professional training companies.
All our service coaches have undergone SJ Service Academy's internal training programme, Service One. They are all qualified and hold the requisite licenses for the types of training the academy provides.
Working with service can be compared with working on the stage – you're always in the spotlight and you must always be word perfect. With a smile and a twinkle in your eye! This is our perception of service. In addition to our training activities, we also offer an ultra modern conference facility with its own restaurant. In total, we have 12 congenial meeting rooms with capacity for up to 200 people available for lease in our two premises in Solna.
SJ Service Academy will become ISO certified in autumn 2010. This is an important step in our commitment to guarantee the provision of quality training courses for our clients and in quality assuring our conference facility.
